Privacy

This site sets no cookie. No page on it carries a script, so nothing served from this domain can write a cookie, read one, or put anything in local or session storage. There is no cookie banner and no consent dialogue, because there is nothing here to consent to. Cloudflare, which serves the site, sets cookies of its own in some configurations — among them __cf_bm and cf_clearance for its bot products — and those are documented by Cloudflare rather than by this site. Nothing on this site reads them and nothing on this site is told what is in them.

No analytics are loaded. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or conversion pixel, no beacon, no heat map, no session recorder and no split-testing tool. No identifier is assigned to a visitor, no visit is joined to another visit, and no profile of a reader is built or bought. The only trace a visit leaves is the host's request log described in the last paragraph below.

No JavaScript is served. The build contains no script element of any kind — not for analytics, not for structured data, not for a font loader, not for a consent tool — and the check that runs before every deploy blocks the deploy if one appears. Every page here is HTML plus one stylesheet, and every page is readable with JavaScript disabled, with CSS disabled, and in a text browser.

No font, script, stylesheet, image, icon, embed, frame, video, map or tracking endpoint is fetched from a third party. The typefaces are whichever ones the reading device already has; none is downloaded, so no font service learns that a page here was opened. The one stylesheet is served from this domain, at /survey.css. Loading a page opens a connection to this domain and to no other. The outbound citations in the prose are links, not embeds: nothing is requested from those hosts unless a reader follows the link, and following one is a visit to that host, under that host's own terms.

No form exists anywhere in the build — no field to type in, no search box, no newsletter sign-up, no comment area, no e-mail link and no telephone link — and the pre-deploy check blocks the deploy if one appears. Nothing is asked for, so nothing is collected: no name, no postal address, no e-mail address, no telephone number, no postcode, and no description of anyone's building. There is no account, no login and no mailing list. Nothing is sold, shared, rented or disclosed to anyone, because there is nothing held to sell, share, rent or disclose.

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stands in front of it, so every request for a page reaches Cloudflare before it reaches anything else. As with any host, request metadata is logged there — the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the path asked for, the response status, the user-agent string the browser sent, and routing information — and is used for delivery, security and abuse prevention. Cloudflare's privacy policy states that the information it processes on a customer's behalf may include but is not limited to IP addresses, traffic routing data, system configuration information, and other information about traffic to and from Customers' websites, devices, applications, and/or networks, and the policy is published at cloudflare.com. Those logs are a property of the hosting arrangement and exist whether or not anyone looks at them. This site adds nothing to them, keeps no log, database or list of its own, and holds no record that could identify a reader.
